In my film class we recently watched the movie groundhog day. Its a story about a man who relives the same day over and over again. Through out this continuous days he tries to commit suicide, Get a woman in to bed and many other things. Then he finally realizes that he should be nice and falls in love with the woman, helps old ladies with their car, helps and old man and many other things as well. All of this seemed to have started with the groundhog seeing his shadow and haveing the winter last until march. My favorite part of this film is when the cycle of an endless day is over. Then everything he did was worth it and he had changed into a better man. I think the lesson to be learned form this film is that you should live every day as if its your last. You should want everyday to be a good day not a bad one.

Catlin,
Great analysis of Groundhog Day's meaning. I agree that Groundhog Day's initial meaning is to live today like it is your last day on earth and being nice will help you more than hurt you. Great job catlin woop woop.

Caitlin,
I agree with you about living everyday as if it was your last. I also think that when you are nice to others and help people you feel better and its worth it. I thought Groundhog Day was interesting and it also made me think.
